Kagoule-Gush

Kagoule

'Gush'

Released 23rd February.

‘Gush’, described by the NME as "brilliant and baffling" has sent ripples throughout the alternative music world after amassing nearly 100,000 plays on Sound Cloud in the first month whilst also entering the Hype Machine Chart.

The track was originally given away as part of a free bitTorrent bundle but has since been aired on BBC Radio 1. Rolling Stone Magazine then tipped the teenage trio Rolling Stone as the "Artist to Watch in 2015."

Kagoule are busy putting the finishing touches to their debut LP in 2FLY Studios in Sheffield with Ross Orton. Orton, best known for the acclaimed Arctic Monkeys 2013 album 'AM', also produced the Beneath The Boardwalk demos. Orton approached Kagoule in Sheffield last year after begin stunned by their live show whilst they were touring with The Wytches.

Despite not yet being out of their teens, Kagoule have garnered an incredible live reputation, having been asked to perform at last year’s Glastonbury Festival and supporting acts including Sleaford Mods, Temples, The Wytches and Drenge. In the past year the band have been tipped by the likes of The Guardian, The Independent and NME, as well as having their track ‘It Knows It’ playlisted on national radio by BBC Introducing.

Kagoule recently signed to legendary independent label Earache Records and will be touring the major UK Festivals this summer.
