Self-styled apocalyptic post punks Beastmilk are one of the most talked-about bands in recent times. Their 2013 debut album Climax has received rave reviews right across the board and their powerful live performances have wowed audiences of all kinds. That their songs resonate with fans of goth, indie, metal and beyond speaks volumes about their timelessness and transcendence. Uniting genres and generations, Beastmilk are spearheading a new wave and taking the music scene by storm.

Formed in Helsinki, Finland in 2010, the rumbling grassroots momentum which built up behind the band’s White Stains On Black Tape demo and subsequent 7” Use Your Deluge has begun to transform into something much, much bigger.

On stage, Beastmilk’s impact is immediate and powerfully cathartic. So far their shows have included tours and appearances in the USA, UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Czech Republic, The Netherlands and Finland, performing alongside a host of established names including HIM, The Soft Moon and Finnish post punk legends Radiopuhelimet and Nolla Nolla Nolla. The band supported Metallica at Sonisphere Festival UK in July 2014 and will be touring Europe alongside In Solitude during October 2014.

The original post punk scene was spawned by urban alienation and social strife, and the youth of today find themselves struggling with the same situations. Exploring themes of pressure, crisis, failure, collapse and loss of control, Beastmilk probe the dark recesses of the human psyche to produce a shadowy, haunting sound that’s both eternal and intensely relevant.
