Glasgow three-piece Baby Strange have announced the release of their new single ‘California Sun’ through Ignition Records on July 31, 2015. The single will be released digitally and as a limited edition 7” yellow coloured vinyl.

‘California Sun’ sees Baby Strange at their most broodingly confident. Nostalgic fuzz-fuelled guitars and driving drums combine with Johnny Madden’s dark and uncompromising vocals to create an anthemic plea for the sunshine.

Since emerging with the brilliantly dark ‘Pure Evil' in 2013, Baby Strange have toured with the likes of Palma Violets, Swim Deep and Iceage, as well as playing festival shows at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow and Brighton’s Great Escape Festival. In recent months Baby Strange have completed a raucous UK tour with Slaves and played a headline show at London’s The Old Blue Last. Baby Strange will play at Godiva Festival on July 3 and a headline show at Tynemouth Surf Café in North Shields on July 11 before commencing on a full UK tour in Autumn 2015.
