The Family Rain are to release a new track “Vulpicide” in the build up to the release of “Under The Volcano”, their debut album. The track will be available exclusively on the Spotify version of the album, and available to download for free from www.thefamilyrain.com
“Vulpicide” was produced by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, Band Of Skulls) and has already been lauded by NME, who described it as “The Family Rain on killer sleazy form”. The band have been tipped far and wide, with features in NME and Kerrang, The Sunday Times and Noisey.

“Under The Volcano” is ten tracks of primal, blues-powered rock n roll. Nagging melodies combine with heavy, metallic riffs to produce a searing rock record of intelligence and wit.
An essential live act, they have supported Jake Bugg, Miles Kane and Deap
Vally in the past year, as well as headlining Heaven in London shortly before
Christmas. The band have also announced three live dates:
