Following the success of his last single, BELIEVE, which achieved momentous support from BBC Radio 1 (Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens), BBC 6 Music (Steve Lamacq and Nemone), and XFM, the 21yr old electronic wizard, Ted Zed, is back with his brand new opus, 'I’M GOLD', due for release on Jan 5th, through BMG.

The powerful lead-single, I’M GOLD, accentuates Ted’s distinct love of distorted guitars, trance-synths, beats, bleeps and layered harmonies. Ted explains: “It’s about feeling separated from the outside world and the realisation that we're all part of a cycle and there's no escaping it, but deep down we know we're miraculous and gold".

Ted’s music is often described as spacey, futuristic, psychedelic rock-pop; with impressive and unique live shows that are full of energy. You’ll find Ted triggering and manipulating pre-recorded sounds, samples and video projections, while providing live guitar and vocals, resulting in a mix of electronic rock-n-roll.

This year Ted wowed audiences at The Great Escape, Secret Garden Party and Calvi On The Rocks, and has upcoming gigs at Club NME.

Hailed as a Todd Rundgren-like genius, Ted Zed kaleidoscope through musical influences with a flick of a plectrum, whilst producing a sound that is entirely their own. Ted Zed likes to accentuate the positive, the poignant, the powerful and the strange. “I'm into madness and things that push you out of your comfort zone,” he declares. “Everyone has madness within them. My music is about taking that madness and putting it to good use.”
