Hot on the heels of the their recent single ‘Self Control’, the Stockholm based alternative electro poppers release their new single ‘Open Fire’ on 8th December through Fiction Records. ‘Open Fire’ is the second single to be taken from Kate Boy’s much anticipated debut album, set for release through Fiction Records early next year.
Evolving their sound with the new single, Kate Boy switch gears as the song kicks off with a punchy, off beat, underlying bassline that carrries throughout the track. As the song builds, Kate Boy’s unique production comes into its own as the chorus explodes into a mixing pot of layered synths and dynamic beats, topped with Kate’s melodic chants. ‘Open Fire’ conjures listeners into a frenzy as the track builds and swirls with distinctive force.
